Illustrations created for an educational children's book, "Dirty Monkeys Smell Bad", written by G. Katz Chronicle for paperback and ebook publishing on Amazon.
This book was written many years ago by an aspiring author from Kingston, New York. She stumbled across my services in the summer of 2018, and with my assistance, it had finally come to fruition! Starting off with her hand drawn pencil sketches, the images were scanned and then drawn digitally using a tablet and custom brushes created with Adobe Illustrator. In addition to assisting the author with creative input and assistance, I had also guided her through the publishing process for both paperback and ebook, helping with technical issues along the way. We then promoted her book through her Facebook business page. This particular book is about a monkey who needs help with a math problem, and is taught a mnemonic, "dirty monkeys smell bad"—divide, multiply, subtract, and bring down—as a way of remembering the order for long division. These are just a few of the pages included in the 26-page children's book.
